How can you tell what game a friend last played on Playstation Network was?

When I look at my friends online on my PS3, I don't see anywhere, where it tells what that person last played when they were online. Does it just not show it?

psp doesn't play games you download off the internet because it looks for the UMD boot file that a memory stick doesn't have. but games can be downloaded from playstation network and played off the memory stick, so is there a way to hack a .iso file to work in the same way games downloaded from ps network?

HELP with my playstation 3 (playstation store)?

Well my friend accidently deleted a game that i bought from playstation store. it is called socom confrontation, its size is 2715 Mb, so i went back to my playstation store account>view downloads and started the download again, BUT its sooo slow the bar has said 0% for about 20 minutes now and it says estimated time to ETA 2014 MINUTES and it drops and rises non stop, i thought it was my internet speed but its not because i can watch and download movies with no problems, but the ps3 is slow. I'm on a bunch of different medicines for different problems. One of the medicines I take is a beta blocker, so it makes it harder for me to burn calories. I workout, do sit ups, run for at least 30-40 minutes a day, and nothing is WORKING! I remember taking some fat burners when I was 17 years old, and I remember I lost 40-50 pounds that summer. I was in nice shape for a while. Then I stopped working out. I'm 22 now. I weight 200 pounds. I'm 5'11". I know most of the weight i've been gaining is muscle. I was thinking about stopping by the dollar store and buying some of those fat burners. Do any of you think that will help? It's like God purposes for me not to lose weight...

Need help setting the timing on y ka24e 240sx engine?

so i have just finished rebuilding my ka24e engine from the ground up and I'm not sure how to set the ignition timing since i did not mark it before i pulled it to replace parts, i know the rotor needs to point toward the #1 cylinder but im not sure what direction the half circle (D looks like a capital d) is supposed to be pointing, when i install the timing cover, the crank gear forces the drive spindle for the distributer to turn clockwise about a quarter turn. is it supposed to do this? and if so, do i have to turn the spindle counterclockwise a quarter turn from where i want it before i install it? i would have a mechanic do it for me but my car is about 40 miles from the nearest shop and i have no means to tow it, any help?

Can I build an expanding arbor?

I wish to build a cedar garden arbor that is 4' wide at the rear and 5' wide in the front. It will be used as an entrance to a vegetable garden from a flower garden in the corner of our lot. The corner shape is similar to a baseball field with the entrance in center field. I believe an arbor that angles outward would look better than a traditional rectangular one. If I angle the base posts I should be able attach the first set of top planks along the sides of the base posts and they will be flush. From there I should be able to make angled cuts in the bottom of the 2nd set of planks so they smoothly slot on top the first set of planks. The top row would be spindles angling outward from the rear of the arbor towards the front. Can anyone think of a reason that this plan would not work? I do not have any arbor building experience, but then I have had limited experience on a host of other jobs around the house and have completed them correctly. Thanks!

Am I the only one that thinks the Playstation Vita aint that great?

I am perfectly happy with the PSP-3000. Internet browser is free, great handheld graphics, extremely light, It has a music player, and you can download videos onto It. The NGP graphics dont look a whole different from regular PSP graphics, the camera will probally only be about 2 mega pixels, and the touch screen stuff (in my opinion) is'nt that great, honestly, the only things that look good are the dual analog sticks. Im not saying the PS Vita will suck, It just does'nt look amazing. Anyone else agree with me?

How would I sand down a spindle that is on my boat trailer?

There are a couple gouges on the spindle from a recently spun bearing. The spindle looks good, but due to the small grooves in it...I can't put the replacement bearing on the spindle. It catches on the grooves. Should I emery paper sand it? Or is there some sort of mechanism I can put on my drill to sort of mill down it evenly? For the past few months I been really tired all day everyday no matter if I sleep 8 hrs.or 12 hrs.Throughout the day I get brain fog and find it hard to focus and feel kinda woozy especially when in a store with alot of people and bright lights.I also get out of breath and my heart beats really fast just from everyday stuff like getting up from the couch or walking up the stairs.Also when I check my bp at the store its always really high like 140/100 and my pulse is always 80-100 bpm.but as I sit there for a few minutes everything goes down to normal or sightly above.I am taking a beta blocker and it is not helping at all!!! I been to the ER and they dig a EKG,urine test,blood work and a chest x-ray which didnt show anything at all!! I went to my doctor and he just gave me a anxiety med which makes me more miserable and tired.I also got tested for everything under the sun like lupus,thyroid,diabetes,vitamin deficency ect. I also got a stress test and echocardiogram and halter monitor but that was over 2 years ago.I am only 22 Dont drink and Dont smoke!! I have this fastener that screws on to a 1/2" spindle on an exercise bike that holds the bearings in place for the pedal crank wheel. This fastener looks like a washer, but to install it, I need a tool that has two blades, like a blade screwdriver, at opposite sides that fit the slots on this fastener. It's round with these side way slots at the 9 and 3 o'clock position. This fastener screws on to the spindle to hold the bearings in place. Seems like iI need a long socket wrench with two blades about 35mm apart from each other to fit the slots on the fastener. I hope I have describe the tool I am looking for. I bent one of my riding mower blades. Couldn't get the bolts loose. Took the deck to my buddy's shop and he took them off with his impact. Put them back on with it too (shoulda used a torque wrench). Got it home and noticed the blades won't spin. Can't get back to try to loosen it for a couple days. What video game is this? i cant remember!?

And I called several mechanics from fitrstone,Monroe etc and they told me they are surpose to inspect the front end..5 min after I got the work done tie rod on the passenger side and a whell alignment my car broke down the shop claimed it was a bolt that was missing in the spindle/ hubb barring and if wasn't there fault but I believe they was surpose to inspect it first.

How do I get my game to download?

I pre-ordered the new Nancy Drew game, The Captive Curse through the official site. Today I should be able to download it. But when I try I get a server error. I've tried their support section but the site wasn't helpful nor were the suggestions they sent me. I turned off pop up blockers, i ran windows updates. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Your body has to do something with them. This isn't normally the way a female would gain weight but make no mistake it will work . What you should do is take one day out of the week to prepare meals and have them left in the refrigerator beforehand so you have your weeks worth of food done . Facebook Layouts help??!!?!?

Okay so I'm on the layout editor and I select to get a picture from my computer. Then this pop-up pops up and says : You must be logged in to Upload a Picture [Log in Button] I select the log in button then another pop-up pops up only for a split second then closes. I assume this means it just logged me in. So I select to get a picture from my computer again and it says I'm not logged in. HOW FUNNY. I've tried it like a thousand times and it still continues to do the same thing. It's so freaking ANNOYING! Also, no , my pop-up blocker is NOT on. If it was how was I able to receive the first pop-up? Well please help! Am I the only one getting this Error?

Wheel bearing problems?

First off, I don't want any comments on my mechanic. About January, I hit a big hole on the freeway going back to college and my bearing broke, messed up the entire brake drum. I had the bearing, the whole break drum replaced. The bearing kept going out. Here its almost july and I have had the same bearing go out and be replaced 7 times. I've replaced the spindle and everything. Here I am, the 8th time replacing this bearing. Any other suggestions to what might be causing this 8 times in 6 months? (No I have no had to pay for all those bearings, warrenty is awesome.) Any ideas would be helpful. (2001 ford focus)

I have a sunken living room, only one step down, the dining adjoins with a railing on the dining room level.?

I am getting hardwood put in the dining room and leave carpeting in the living room. I would like to get rid of the railing when the new floor is put down but I am wondering if it was put there for looks or safety. Its only one step down. I think it makes the space look smaller and its the big bulky oak spindles. MAC Can't connect properly to my school's internet?

Hello, I am having trouble connecting to my school's internet. I enter the netword name and password properly and airport says that I AM connected to the internet. I believe there is supposed to be some kind of authentication for my school username and password when I go into the web browser but it never comes up. Is there a way for me to reset my internet so that it connects to things properly? I think I may have changed a setting or something that is making it not pick up properly. It does say that I am connected and I have turned off all of my firewalls and adware blockers. Need help, thanks!

My heart won't slow down?

I've been completely off antidepressants for about a month and even though I'm not doing very well off of them, I'm still functioning enough to go to work and do my sport which is riding horses, and blah blah. It is all I can do to not get so frustrated at work since I work retail and you have to have TONS of patience with customers and those coupons and coworkers stealing your sales. It's all I can do not to walk out but so far, I've managed to stay inside and keep the job. I am very stressed out about money, and feeling like I'm going nowhere in life, which I'm really not. Each day is just the same, with no moving forward. But I refuse to take the medication again bc I'm angry and stubborn and don't want the chemicals. When I'm about to get my period, it's like c'mere let me strangle you. I take evening primrose, St. Johns Wart and 5-Htp but really, I just started the last two today. I'm thinking being off the antidepressants is making my heart race like this. I have a cardiologist appt on monday. I'm on beta blockers but they only have been stopping my heart from pounding but it still races. In all, I feel terrible. But I have been in therapy for 6 years and have skills to deal with this. I'm just trying to hold on, keep going, putting one foot in front of the other. I'm scared I'll keep feeling worse. I feel like I need anger management at work. Being at the mall full time is WAY overstimulating for me, who is laid-back, type B, and introverted. This is all very hard. It hurts a lot. It's hard to find a new job, I feel helpless. At times, I feel alien to the world. I look at people and it's like they aren't even the same species as me. Sometimes, when I'm in the crowded mall, there are freakin people everywhere and it feels like a plague. I stop bc someone ran into me, crushed my foot with their baby stroller, or cut in front of me, and I just try to make all the noise seem far away. it's like in the movies when someone is thinking or stressed and everything blurs out and spins and spins around them, and they are standing there and all the noise is far away and they are staring into space. I'm so immature sometimes. I don't know where I got this notion that someone is going to save me, but it's all I wish for sometimes. I feel like I'm dependent and lazy. All I want is to be free. I don't feel like I'm going to make it in this life. I never have, really. And I don't want medicine to make me think otherwise. That seems so unnatural. Everything seems so huge and like a rat race to live. I don't want to run with the other rats. Please help, have you or anyone you know ever felt this way??

Elfen Lied: Discs on one spindle?

Okay, so I bought the Complete Collection of Elfen Lied (even though I heard people complaining about the discs being on one spindle). I thought I might have problems with the discs falling off of the spindle and breaking...but actually, it's too tight rather than loose. It's extremely difficult for me to pry them off of the spindle...and since there's nothing behind them (you know, with all the empty space and all), I have to bend the disc to get it to come out. Obviously, that doesn't seem like a good way to do it; at this rate, I'll break the discs within a day. I feel like an idiot for asking this, but is there a trick to getting the discs off the spindle without bending them?

This is my 10TH time this week, and probably 30TH time this month that I've received or witness racism on PSN. PlayStation 3 AV Cable Help?

It most definitely could be the cables. They are inexpensive, so you could just buy some more and try them out. You could also reset the video connection. When your ps3 is powered down (you see the red light on the front) hold the power button until you hear three beeps. This does a reset of the video connection. You will see a prompt on the the screen when you start it up--this is how you know you did it correctly. There is a another measure you could take if neither of these tips work. Let me know.

Why won't ps3 update via internet or storage media?

i tried updating my ps3 through internet several times and everytime i do, it gets over 50% downloaded then says theres either an error, the fie may be corrupted, or the download could not be completed. then i tried it through storage media with thre different flash drives, 2 different computers, and followed all the istructoins from playstation.com very carefully but everytime i'd do this it goes past 50% and says the file is corrupted. I've also updaed my ps3 through storae media before and had no problems.

Mine does that too. Wait until the bread cools off and then pull the paddle out. That should just leave you with the paddle shaped hole in the bottom, depending on the specific recipe, and shouldn't rip out any huge chunks of bread.

"Fluid" motion problem...Should I repack the grease on my Manfrotto 701hdv head?

I have used my new Manfrotto video head since December. There is an area about 1/4 of the turning radius where the "fluid" motion goes away and my video camera flies around the tripod. I pulled it apart and noticed some grease in there. I put just a little bit of vaseline around the larger outer part of the spindle and it works a little better. I am thinking of repacking all of the lubricant...Has anyone done this to their tripod heads with good results? I called Manfrotto and it would take 7-10 days just to look at it....I use it almost daily and can't afford a new one. Any ideas before I pack it with vaseline? Thanks!

Siezed Wheel bearing on 1971 mustang?

The wheel bearing went out while i was in town and i had to drive it about 1-2 miles so i could park it in a safe spot so i could find a trailer and bring it home. Once i got it home i pulled the wheel and drum off and the wheel bearing was seized to the spindle so i took my grinder and grind each side of the wheel bearing and took a chisel and pop it off, so it wasn't welded to it but when i was looking at the spindle i could see that it grind some on the spindle and if i remember it wasn't smooth either, the drum isn't usable any more but is the spindle still good?

Playstation 3 Disk Read Help?

I know a lot of people have had similar problems, but im needed a good answer on exactly what to do. My PS3 seems to hate reading certain discs of mine, like Darksiders or Modern Warfare 2, but it reads games like Infamous 2 and COD: Black Ops just fine, I always end up having to put a certain game in so my PS3 will read it, THEN I can put in whatever game I want (like MW2) and it finally reads it just fine. An outside hitter should always start from the outside. From there, you should be able to see the block and hit either sharp angle, through the seam, or rip line :) From my personal experience, if you start inside, it's easier for you to get blocked, you can start your approach from the inside, but you always want to have those different hitting options to be a very efficient OH.

Why do the new video game systems keep breaking down?

I have a 10 year old playstation that never had a problem. Then I buy the new PS3 and it breaks right after the warranty. I have now purchased my second Xbox 360. I still have the old xbox and my old playstation. so now we are playing old games. This sucks! The Nintendo Wii was not what my kids preferred and I spent hella dough on it . Then gamefly keeps sending messed up games! Video games used to be fun! The systems are so expensive and then they keep updating controllers so you have to purchase expensive accessories. Why don't they make systems that actually work! so we can actually play them! I really enjoyed the games on Nintendo 64. But then they would put out a game I loved and there would be a glitch but they wouldn't make it better, they would leave the glitch and we would shelve the game and buy a different one. They should make better games and better systems!

When writing text my cursor is very erratic, disappearing, running off across the page by itself, etc.?

My cursor often runs off across the page by itself, or just disappears, when writing text in an email or even when using my MS word processor. I even found that often when scrolling down a page, the scroll bar would take off on its own and run all the way down to the bottom of the page. I have a Dell Inspiron 518, running Vista OS, with Firefox browser, Gmail, and Trend Micro Titanium Security suite 2011. Because I had recently also (coincidentally?) suddenly had some other, apparently unrelated, problems (Firefox not running, TrendMicro disabled and not responding to steps to enable it), I downloaded malwarebytes to a flash drive and ran it-- there was no malware on any drives or personal files. I then reinstalled Firefox and TrendMicro, and now the only remaining problem is the original one, an erratic and sometimes uncontrollable text cursor. I've run the Dell diagnostics hardware and full system scan, and the computer passed everything except for one failure in a spindle test (which then passed when I ran the scan a second time). I tried a different mouse, since it seems like a hardware problem, but it made no difference. I haven't tried a different keyboard yet, but I did clean the keyboard with a compressed gas duster. Didn't have any effect. I'm about at my wits end. I need help!

My home PC has a virus, what can I do to get rid of it?

I think it's a really bad virus. The other day I was on this site that I shouldn't have been and an ad passed through my pop-up blocker and popped-up. I closed the pop-up window and immediately my Webroot anti-virus had a message pop up at the bottom of the screen stating "a potential harmful threat has been quarantined" or something to that extent. I closed my Safari browser (I'm using Windows Vista, not a Mac) and opened Webroot. The risk level of the quarantined item was 5 and it's name began with "MAL". I didn't write down the last part of it. Anyways, I didn't think much of it at the time. I thought Webroot handled the threat. I walked away from my computer and when I returned, there were a bunch of weird error messages popping up. I got freaked out and closed iTunes, then restarted my PC. When it restarted, there was a red circle with and "x" in it on the task bar next to the time, volume, etc. Also my desktop background was gone and it was just all black. Then a fake scan popped up on the screen and said that I had a bunch of threats on my computer. That's when I knew for sure that my PC had been infected. I force-shut-down the computer by holding down the power button. Then I turned it back on and tried to boot it into safe mode, this failed miserably as I was faced with a "blue screen of death". I turned the PC off again and I turned it back on and pressed F8 at the start up screen to view the advanced options. I had no idea what option to choose so I just felt discouraged and turned the computer off and I haven't touched it since Saturday when all of this occurred. I really want to get my computer working again before my mom realizes there's something wrong with it. Please help, thanks in advance.

I hooked up the standard red/white/yellow AV cables (no hdmi, that doesn't even plug into my TV), I checked all connections, I put the TV on the correct setting, both devices are apparently working fine, I even made absolutely sure that both devices were turned on. But I just can't get the picture to come up on my screen. Is there some other stupid mistake I'm making?
