How do i keep my lab from chewing up our porch?

So, my family just got a new dog, he just turned 1 and he chews and digs horribly. My dad is super angry and is talking about maybe getting rid of him (witch I totally don't want). He have eaten probably 5 spindles off our porch and chewed on many many others, he also digs like you would not believe, My mom can't hardly mow our side yard. we also have to other dogs, another lad and a terrier mix, all three of our dogs are diggers, but only one is a chewer. How can I stop my dogs from digging and eating our porch?
