Should I get the ps3 for my eighth grade graduation?

I am a 13 year old girl who just graduated from middle school. My parents are big on buying presents for each graduation in our lives, so this year I was thinking about getting the ps3. I love playing video games- I have a Wii, a playstation 2, a gamecube, a nintendo 64, and several gameboys. The only worry I have about getting the ps3 is that there aren't many games that would be for girls (not to be sexist). I typically enjoy playing Harvest Moon games, Sims, Animal Crossing, etc. But sometimes I like playing action and adventure games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and The Legend of Zelda. So....what do you guys think? Do you have any suggestions for a different console I should get? Psp? DS?
