Can I get credit if I tell Sony my idea?

I have an idea for a PlayStation controller, but I don't want to go through all the patenting junk to get it copyrighted and stuff. All I would ask in return is some money, and that they advertise my website on all of the packaging the controller comes in so people can see it, and also say my websites name on any videos they make to display it. Could I trust Sony, or should I wait and go through all that legal stuff. And also how would I contact Sony to tell them my idea? Thanks!
