Wheel bearing problems?

First off, I don't want any comments on my mechanic. About January, I hit a big hole on the freeway going back to college and my bearing broke, messed up the entire brake drum. I had the bearing, the whole break drum replaced. The bearing kept going out. Here its almost july and I have had the same bearing go out and be replaced 7 times. I've replaced the spindle and everything. Here I am, the 8th time replacing this bearing. Any other suggestions to what might be causing this 8 times in 6 months? (No I have no had to pay for all those bearings, warrenty is awesome.) Any ideas would be helpful. (2001 ford focus)
