I have a blood pressure test coming in 2 days. I need to reduce it quickly to pass.?

Doctor put me on a beta blocker, and it is working but slowely. This test needs to be passed. If I fail, me and the family will be on the streets. Any quick reducers I can ask a doctor, or natural. etc.
