Playstation 3 Or Xbox 360?

I Currently have A Nintendo Wii (Which is awful) and I decided to trade it in and buy either a PS3 or Xbox 360. I will use the internet for which ever one I get. So which one is better financially and with game-play? I don't know what to get.
