Is this merely coincidence, or else synchrony? What else is there cognitively?

I have schziophrenia which means lower glucose metabolism in cingulate cortex where spindle neurons exist, and at the same time I am trying to find out why pine-apples have a spiral structure as opposed to the spherical of the apple.
