Car makes a loud pop/bang noise when accelerating?

if ur got grease everywhere, its ur axle. the boot ripped when u hit the curb. theres no grease in it which causes the bearings in the cv boot to rub metal to metal. also check ur wheel bearings if ur 240 has em.
